What...? More NBA Finals???

You want to know what's interesting? Not the NBA Finals!
I keep hearing about the excitement of the games and the tremendous game play of one Lebron James willing his team to stay competitive against the extremely talented group called Golden State Warriors. By rewriting the record books, and living up to the moniker of KING, James is the toast of the sports world right now despite his team being down by a game. Everyone predicting a game seven and thus making this 2015 NBA Finals an instant classic. But you guys come here to hear the truth, right?... So here it goes......
While it is true, Mr. James is breaking all types of playoff records and his team is not far off from tying this series once again, the question is this... Are the Golden State Warriors underachieving or are the Cleveland Cavaliers(Lebron James) rising to a formidable challenge?
The answer: Yes. No(YES).
What's clear is that Mr. James is putting his all in this, apparently. But when has he ever really half-arsed anything? Lebron's teams' have been in the last five NBA Finals, including this year and he(Wade, Bosh, Allen) has won two of those. His original Cavs team looked much like this one, the difference is only in the opponent. In the 2011 finals, Heat vs Mavericks, James played his heart out with a much more talented team. The difference...the opponent. He played his heart out last year, the difference...THE OPPONENT!!! Many people are giving the stats and great sermons fitting for the archives of "The King" that have people buying into this incredible tale of true grit and unmatched determination. However the Warriors, along with the MVP of the league, Stephen Curry, haven't really made much of a stand until recently. Steve Kerr was to be, the basketball whisperer but he has had a hard time making, what some would say, simple adjustments. Truth is, this series should be over and Golden State should be prepping for a parade and a visit to The White House. But here we are, in a game six....now I enjoy watching basketball, I enjoy playing basketball but I don't enjoy being played. The Warriors dismal performance has to do with the lack of effort, not a fantastic performance of "The King" and his court. If the Cleveland Cavaliers "happen" to win this series and subsequently the NBA championship, I would suspect foul play by a league that is lacking in talent. Therefore, making this 2015 Finals way more "exciting" than it really is or should be. It only takes a couple of players to doctor a game and typically it's the players that normally have the ball in their hands. The "Warriors" passing up clearly open shots, driving into traffic and taking horrible shots, playing substandard defense and a coach making questionable decisions, seems like too many coincidences, to me. Should I believe you or my lying eyes?!. And if it doesn't make sense, it's probably not true, thanks Judge Judy!
More is better when the product is greater.
Let's just end this without anyone else getting hurt.

NBA Finals... A good show or good basketball?

This was my post from last week that didn't make it to my blog page.
Listen and learn.....or not.
