NFL Week 1 Predictions

Here we are with the first week of the NFL season...David B. picks are in red.

Green Bay 34 at Chicago 10
Chicago just don't have enough fire power to match the Packers or the defense to stop them.

Kansas City 27 at Houston 24
I know Houston is looking to bounce back this season and having the No. 1 rank player (J.J. Watt) doesn't hurt but I give the nod to the Chiefs thanks to Andy Reid, not LeBron James...I mean Jamaal Charles.

Seattle 30 at St. Louis 13
St. Louis pulled this short stick and it won't be their fault that the Seahawks unleash some pent-up
aggression to prove they are still at the top of the heap.

Cleveland 17 at N.Y. Jets 16
By the skin of their paws, the Browns pull this one out, I mean McCown is the "bright" light. The Jets are home and that's the only plus for them.

Indianapolis 28 at Buffalo 10
I really want to choose the Bills but that's not possible, Luck is playing for the other team and Rex Ryan is coaching Buffalo. Go Bills....?

Miami 24 at Washington 30
Yes, Jay Gruden made the right decision and it will show up as a win even with Suh leading the Dolphins defense.

Carolina 34 at Jacksonville 3
The Jaguars........................ Hmmmm, where's Tom Coughlin when you need him.

New Orleans 24 at Arizona 28
This should be a good game but I give the nod to the hometown Cardinals.

Detroit 31 at San Diego 17
The Lions are healthy and the Chargers are missing some positive ions.

Cincinnati 10 at Oakland 19
The Raiders will get one of their five wins right at the beginning. While Cincy struggles with an identity crisis. But don't worry, Bengal fans, they'll pick it up later.

Baltimore 20 at Denver 30
A healthy Peyton Manning leads the Broncos to a decisive first week win but the Ravens manage to give them a run for money and leaves with the moral victory.

Tennessee 13 at Tampa Bay 17
The first battle between Mariota and Winston... but they won't be the focal point at least not till the end.

N.Y. Giants 20 at Dallas 14
This is my upset pick of the week. Hey it's Peyton's little brother[Eli Manning], I remember him.

MONDAY'S GAMES
Minnesota 26 at San Francisco 10
Too much Teddy and not enough Colin combined with the Zimmer-fense, it's just too much for the 49ers.

Philadelphia 14 at Atlanta 24
Let's start a Tebow curse for Philly, at least for a week.
